Empower Pharmacy is a leading compounding pharmacy that specializes in providing medications personalized to meet unique patient needs. Struggling with brand perception, the company was looking for a way to modernize itself and communicate its value with customers old and new.
I supported Empower Pharmacy with tone and voice enhancements as part of a total rebrand, as well as strategy and copywriting for its new website. This involved conducting research and interviews to develop personas for each key audience segment, identifying their pain points, mapping their customer journeys, and determining how Empower provides value at each stage of the funnel. These insights were then used to create a seamless, intentional website experience tailored to these audiences, with Empower’s trusted legacy and dedication to innovation evident in every interaction.
Brand & Web Strategy Work
In a space where cold, clinical tones are the norm, Empower Pharmacy needed something warmer and more human that still evoked professionalism and authenticity to stand out, and that’s exactly what it got. With this new brand voice, mission, vision, and values established and documented, all touch points moving forward would be tonally cohesive and unmistakably Empower.
The goal of the new website was to clearly convey Empower Pharmacy’s growth, innovation, and capabilities in a way that was valuable to its three target audiences — practitioners, patients, and pharmacies.
I supported taxonomy and sitemap creation and developed content outlines and wireframes, presenting each of these deliverables to the client to ensure alignment. From there, I wrote impactful on-page copy that adhered to the new brand voice and effectively communicated Empower’s value.
With its refreshed brand and website, Empower Pharmacy was better positioned to walk its mission’s walk and provide innovative, high-quality healthcare solutions.
